George Orwell – Animal Farm | Review

animalfarmAnimal Farm is a compelling novel about a world where (or maybe a better word would be when) animals rebel against the regime keeping them captive and unhappy only to create a world even worse for them. It was written in the mid twentieth century, in the middle of the Second World War by George Orwell.

animalfarm1-660x349It is almost scary to read about the seemless descent into totalitarian regime in this book. And the changes sometimes truly shock you.
I cannot say I enjoyed reading this book, but it without a doubt is a book everyone simply must read as it deals with the very human nature and the way it can show itself.

The writing kept the story gripping and I like it the most. As well as the great characterization of the few “main” characters.

This is the fourth book for my Booktube-a-thon challenge.
